Trillium Hills

Trillium Hills is nestled in among the verdant hills and valleys of Clinton County, Ohio. It is 110 acre certified tree farm, approximately 70 of which are designated for a nature preserve and learning center.

It is owned by the Trillium Hills Partnership who is dedicated to environmentally sound practices, and providing a biodiversity learning lab for individuals and schools. Trillium Hills has worked in partnership with the Ohio State Forestry, US Soil and Conservation Agency and Clinton County Open Lands for over twenty years to improve the forests and protect the plant and animal habitats.

At the entrance to Trillium Hills, there is a lavender and herb field with a small cottage which can serve as a retreat or meeting area.

In the spring, Trillium Hills is carpeted with trilliums, may apples, flocks, golden seal, and jack-in-the-pulpits.
Up to 15 different ferns have been found in these woods.

Several diverse communities are here including Riparian(creek), meadow, and the woodland.
